our winter fundraising drive (133K)

Since 1982 the Middle East Crisis Committee has been fighting for human and national rights. Our enduring concern is Palestine, but we fought the murderous sacntions by the Bushes and Clinton on Iraq, opposed war against Iran and supported the democratic struggle in Syria and much more. We need your financial support. Details below.

Continuting The Struggle During the Pandemic

It’s sometimes challenging to get out our weekly TV show, but needless to say this year was something special. Yet we were out there, at meetings for Palestine, at #BlackLivesMatter marches, environmental car caravans and rallies for immigrants - wearing masks and social distancing, but snapping photos and shooting video. We weren’t able to have any physical meetings after March but we took part in the new Zoom world of online events, webinars and protests.

Some of our Achievements and Work in 2020:

-- Produced 52 TV programs. They’re shown on over 30 cable channels in the northeast, and on two stations in the MidWest . Links to all shows are at TheStruggle.org

--Created “Zionist Betrayal of Jews - The Slide Show”, an online lavishly illustrated talk by Stanley Heller, showed it to Maine group for Palestine and New Haven Jewish Voice for Peace. Looking for invitations.

--Had a special focus on Syria in our work to counteract the nonsense of crude “anti-imperialists”

--Partnered with PEP in getting Mazin Qumsiyeh to give the Shafer Lecture at the Palestine Museum.

--Joined the New England Network for Justice in Palestine and went to its New Hampshire meeting

--Campaigned to prevent UNH from renewing its contract with the Saudi police/military college.

--After yet another Palestinian is killed by a Ruger rifle, renewed our campaign against Sturm Ruger.
