Did Netanyahu Ban 200,000 Jewish Voice for Peace Supporters from "the Jewish State"?
It's unclear how far the order goes, but when the Israeli government banned "activists" from 20 organizations from
entering the land under its control it may have banned all 200,000 JVP Jewish members and supporters. Sopme think this will be embarrasing for a government that
prides itself on being the protector of the "the Jews", but this is a logal position for an apartheid regime that's only real devotion to its own gang. A regime happy to
work with anti-Semites, alt-right and former (hidden?) nazis will inevitably declare all criticism as disloyal, anti-Israel, anti-Semitic etc. etc.
Jewish Voice for Peace claims 200,000 supporters. The ADL (which hates JVP) estimates growing JVP influeces here.
Also note the apartheid state banned the American Friends Service Committee, a Quaker organization honored with the 1947 Nobel Peace Prize.
It got it for assisting and rescuing victims of the Nazis, but that stuff is so last century as to escape notice today.
The excuse is that all these terrible peace groups want to cause actual "harm" because they support boycotts. Well, any moral person should want to "harm apartheid", which after all is an
international crime. (and of course, of course, we're talking about abolishing a noxious policitical system like when decent people called for the abolition of Apartheid 1.0 in the 1980's)
The (honor) roll of banned groups is here (according to Haaretz):
¦ American Friends Service Committee
